1.SHE IS ONE OF THE FEW MUSICAL GENIUSES EVER TO POP INTO THE MAINSTREAM MUSIC INDUSTRY.

THINK, AT HER AGE. CAN YOU ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISH WHAT SHE’S DONE? SHE HAS HER OWN FASHION LINE, SHE GETS WHATEVER SHE WANTS, SHE HAS A SUPER HOT BODY, UNIQUE SOUND AND VISUAL APPEAL.

I SAY, SHE’S TOO FASHION FORWARD, FOR ANYONE THAT CAN’T UNDERSTAND HER GOAL HERE.

2.SHE IS AN ARTIST THAT YES, MAYBE TRADED HER MUSICAL CREDIBILITY TO GET EVERYTHING SHE WANTED TO NAB, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, IF YOU LOOK AT HER BACKGROUND, SHE DIDN”T START BY JUST PAYING SOME PRODUCER TO CREATE “HYPE” FOR HER. SHE TAKES HER WORK SERIOUSLY AND PERFORMS ALMOST PERFECT (GIVEN THE FACT THAT SHE DANCES AND SINGS LIVE AND REFUSES FOR THE MOST PART TO LIP SYNC)

3. SHE HAS A GREAT VOICE. SOME PEOPLE DON’T LIKE IT BECAUSE IT’S

“TOO LOW” OR WHATEVER.

PEOPLE, LEARN “CHOIR”.

DIFFERENT PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT SETS OF VOCAL RANGES.

IT’S SAD TO HEAR THAT PEOPLE THINK THAT, JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN REACH HIGH NOTES AND SHIT THAT YOU’RE AUTOMATICALLY GREAT.

NOT REALLY. ITS THE UTILIZATION OF POWER, CONTROL, AND PERFECT ANNUNCIATION. WHICH SHE HAS, BY THE WAY.

4.MOST POP STARS CANT EVEN PLAY A GOD DAMN INSTRUMENT. LISTEN TO HER PLAY POKER FACE LIVE. DON’T TELL ME SHE HAS NO MUSICAL BACKGROUND OR KNOWLEDGE WHATSOEVER.

SHE’S SO SMART THAT SHE ACTUALLY FUCKS AROUND WITH EVERYTHING AND TURNS IT INTO HER POP SONGS, WHICH ARE HITS BTW.

I MEAN I’M NOT ADDICTED TO HER OR ANYTHING, I JUST HATE THAT PEOPLE DON’T RESPECT OTHER MUSICIANS JUST BECAUSE THEY DON’T PLAY THE TYPE OF GENRE THEY THINK IS “INTELLECTUAL” OR “THOUGHT OF.”

EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING IS THOUGHT OF. EVEN KID’S SONGS.

TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR CAME FROM ‘AVOUZ DIRAI JE MAMAN” WHICH IS ACTUALLY A MOZART PIECE.

JUST SAYING. HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR MUSICIANS. ITS NOT EASY TO MAKE MUSIC.

AGAIN, MY OPINION…

Florence and the machine cover of beyonce's "halo"

Okay, I'm ALL for the instrumental cover of this song. HELLO? fucking harp?? HOW COOL IS THAT? I wish I could be as excited for the vocals though. She lacks the power that beyonce has but ofcourse she's a fucking diva. The thing is, you can hear Florence's voice shake through out the song and hear flats and sharps everywhere. This is by the pre-chorus before the whole repetition of "halo" comes. Hopefully the reason behind this is voice strain because I can totally understand that. On the upside though, i do appreciate the slight variation of her melody in the chorus. that's a neat way to fit beyonce's song into your vocal range but I wish she did it for the rest. the verses are pretty okay, especially the intro. But once it hits the high notes, it turns to a "meh, why did you do that?" anyway, see for yourselves. It's still a good cover overall.



Also, to give justice to florence and the machine, I share with you one of their original songs which I totally dig. The chorus is pretty inventive. I love the claps in this song too. Sooo called for.

This is a somewhat un-bitter break up song. :)
also, having puppets in the video makes it extra awesome.
